PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
Austin Animal Center, the shelter I volunteer with, is having a REALLY hard time with placing medium-large dogs. We are completely out of space and all our fosters are full. We have been euthanizing about a LOT of perfectly good dogs that would have thrived and made someone very happy given the chance. We need more fosters and adopters if these dogs are to make it.
Austin Animal Center is located in Austin, TX at 7201 Levander Loop. To foster, please fill out this application (may seem somewhat strict at parts; but we are really not especially given that we are desperate). With fosters, ALL VET CARE AND EXPENSES ARE TAKEN CARE OF. We will even give you some food to feed the animal you foster.All dogs pictured above are currently available for foster/adoption and have been waiting a long time for someone to come for them. Achilles, the red pit bull, is currently at risk of being put down and could really use a foster/adopter. Snoopy, the black and white dog, is also at risk and has been waiting for a home since March.
